The University Chapel in Mona came alive on Sunday as the National Chorale of Jamaica delivered an inspiring and stirring rendition of George Handel’s Messiah (Part 1) along with a vibrant medley of Christmas carols.

The evening began with a rich selection of carols, including James Whitbourn’s A Great and Mighty Wonder, delivered with the chorale’s signature elegance. The spiritual Mary Had a Baby was presented with heartfelt emotion and energy. At the same time, Alice Parker and Robert Shaw’s Fum, Fum, Fum stood out for its inventive arrangement and impressive vocal execution.
